LAHORE: At least nine people were killed on Friday morning in separate road accidents in Punjab.
Five people were killed while 20 others were wounded in Faisalabad when a bus overturned due to speeding.
The bus collided with a container at Jhomra Road, Faisalabad. Rescue workers shifted the injured to a hospital.
Meanwhile, in a similar accident, 13 people were injured as a bus overturned due to over speeding in Dera Ghazi Khan. The wounded were taken to the Tehsil headquarters hospital for the treatment.
Moreover, an oil tanker rammed into a motorbike in Muzaffargarh, killing four people. Three of them were brothers, while the fourth deceased person was their cousin.
The drivers in all three accidents fled from the site.
