HANGU: Police foiled a major terror bid and arrested five suspects in Tal Bazaar, Hangu on Saturday.
Hangu police found two bombs planted outside a shop in Tal Bazaar and immediately called for the bomb defusal squad which defused the bomb and a major terror bid was foiled as a result of this operation.
Police stated that the bombs weighted 2kg’s each, a hand grenade and a container containing petrol were also seized.
Five suspected people were also held during a search operation conducted after the terror bid was foiled, the arrested had been taken to an undisclosed location for further investigations.
