PESHAWAR: Police foiled a terror attempt after they recovered a bomb from a suspect in Peshawar on Friday morning. A suspect carrying a homemade bomb was stopped during snap-checking by police officials near Machni Gate, bomb was recovered from his bag. Police immediately arrested the suspect while his accomplice managed to escape the scene. Immediately after that a joint search operation was launched near Hassan Garhi and Machni Gate to nab the miscreant.
Bomb disposal squad immediately arrived at the scene to neutralize the bomb.
Security in Peshawar remains tight after recent attack on police officials.
