ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday welcomed Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid’s sacking for leaking a story containing civil-military leadership’s clash to the media.
Khan wrote on a social media website that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government was falling apart as one minister – Khawaja Asif – has already fled to Dubai and another was being sacked.
The PTI chief claims the rest of the ministers have started trembling in fear. PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the nation knew who would have asked the sacked minister to file the story.
Khan – while talking to a local news channel – criticised the government’s attitude for staying silent over the matter for the past 20 days.
