ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawa
z Sharif on Tuesday said that the previous governments paid no attention to hospitals and health facilities in the country.
Chairing the federal
cabinet meeting, he said that people are fa
cing severe problems due to the shortage of quality hospitals. The PM said that we are taking initiatives to improve the health and education sectors as it is our commitment with the Pakistanis.
The
cabinet has approved the electoral reforms, Report of the
cabinet committee, constituted for the people affected by Indian firing on
working boundary and foreign commercial Loans so far.
A proposal for medical treatment of poor and deserving citizens, suffering from fatal diseases includ
ing kidney, liver, bone-marrow transplant and cancers, was also discussed.
