Recent reports revealed that a terrorism plan of DAESH has been foiled by counter terrorism forces.
Security officials arrested 4 terrorists from Punjab. The terrorists had planned to kill officials on a large scale: CTD Lahore Team & officers of a sensitive agency jointly got a source information that terrorists belonging to proscribed organisation DAESH were planning to attack government installations in Lahore & were about to launch the attack. On receiving this information, CTD team raided Ya Rasool-Ullah Park near Moon Market Lahore and arrested the terrorist namely Syed Abdul-Alam, Muhammad Hafeez-u-Rehman, Nisar Ahmad and Tassavur Amin. 1600g explosives, 8 feet safety fuse and 4 non-electric detonators have been recovered. CTD Team is on the scene and investigation is underway.
