PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday appreciated the performance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and declared him the best chief minister of Pakistan.
Imran Khan was addressing the participants of unveiling ceremony of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa U-23 Games 2017 Logo and Trophy at Hayatabad Sports Complex Peshawar.
PTI Chief asked the participants about the performance of the CM Pervez Khattak and criticized CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for its poor performance. Shahbaz Sharif has failed to work and show performance as the Khattak as he has done during the last three years as the former notoriously known for inhuman activities in Punjab, he maintained. PTI Chairman shared that construction of bridges, building and roads cannot bring change and prosperity in societies but investments on human only bring change and development. “Every district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will get soon a sports ground after the provincial government has planed to build
sports grounds in all union councils. He said that KP government on the way to design a sports policy where talented players will have ample scope and opportunity to reach international grounds. Sports make the body and mental level strong and help in creating best and educated society with the spirit of tolerance he added.
“Sport can stop youth from indulging an evils and provincial government should focus on establishment of grounds,” he suggested. Khan gave example of England and said that England has 5 million population but they have more sports grounds as compared to 20 million population country, adding that government should establish grounds in FATA because the people of tribal areas have strong and keen of sports.
PTI Chief said that federal government not focus on even on education while, 25 million children are out of schools in Pakistan. He said that KP police has become the exemplary police in whole country, while KP also is number one in education sector.
